The Woman Behind Lumière
Amara Nakato
Amara founded Lumière in 2016 with one mission — to build a salon where every person feels genuinely seen. With over 10 years of professional training across Uganda and Kenya, she specialises in creative cutting, natural hair styling, and client consultations.
Amara believes that a great look starts with a great conversation. Before any stylist touches your hair, we listen. That philosophy has shaped everything about how Lumière operates — from the way we greet clients to the way we follow up after every appointment.
Under her leadership, Lumière has grown from a two-chair studio into Kampala's most trusted beauty destination — built entirely on results, referrals, and repeat clients.

Sandra Opio
Sandra turns nails into tiny works of art. With training in gel, acrylic, dip powder, and nail art illustration, she brings obsessive precision to every set she creates.
Brian Mugisha
Brian is Lumière's answer to the modern gentleman who takes his appearance seriously. Trained in precision barbering and scalp health, he delivers cuts and beard work that are as sharp as they are clean.
Lydia Namukasa
Lydia is fast, precise, and painless — three things every braiding client prays for. She specialises in all protective styles and has built a loyal following of natural hair clients across Kampala.
Grace Atuhaire
Grace reads skin the way a doctor reads a chart — with expertise, precision, and genuine care. Her facials are deeply relaxing and tailored entirely to your skin type and current condition.
